Wayne E. Rowe Obituary

Munnsville-Wayne E. Rowe, age 84, formerly of S. Main Street, Munnsville and more recently of the Oneida Healthcare Extended Care Facility passed away peacefully late Thursday evening November 14, 2024 at the facility.


He was born on August 6, 1940 in Oneida, New York a son of the late Edward and Mabel Ward Rowe and attended the local schools.


Prior to his retirement Wayne was employed for many years with the Oneida Limited Silversmiths. In his spare times he enjoyed watching NASCAR races, football, trips to Vernon Downs to watch the horse races and walks around the neighborhood.


Surviving are his granddaughter; Maranda Rowe, great-granddaughter; Kinsley Rowe both of Munnsville, two sisters, Joan Rowe and Joyce Rowe Barriger, a special nephew Scott Ward, and several nieces and nephews.


He was predeceased by his mother, Mabel Ward in 2000, father, Edward Rowe in 2005, son, John Rowe in 2012, wife, Kristen Rowe in 2014, daughter, Denise Rowe in 2016 and son, Randy Rowe in 2021.


In keeping with Wayne’s wishes there will be no services. Private burial will be in Stockbridge Cemetery, Stockbridge, NY. Arrangements are with the Malecki Funeral Home of Sherrill. Online condolences may be sent to maleckifuneralhome.com
