We enjoyed the past 20 winters with Laddy and Roseann at Lake Highlander in Dunedin, Florida. There were great shared work projects, special parties, trips to the beach and scenic areas, meals and just plain fun get-togethers with them. Laddy was always a willing and fun participant in whatever was going on. He was well known for his "big balls", which hung annually, along with other Christmas decorations, from his front awning!

I met Mr. And Mrs Hubbard at the ripe age of 6 years old when Jamie and I became best buds!! It seemed like every time I went running in and out of their home, which was daily as a kid he was there with a smile and a laugh. As we got older he would yell out to slow down or shut the door with a huge smile on his face. I remember the cars he painted in the garage and the smell of paint and lucky strikes!! He was my first baseball coach and told me to purposely play poorly in tryouts so no one would pick me until it was his turn. It worked!! I spent so much time there it felt like my second family. I will miss the smile and the laugh Mr. Hubbard. I will see you again on the flip side. And " shut the door"!!! lol.
