Obituary of Sara "Sally" Casler

Oneida-Sara "Sally" Casler, age 87, formerly of Stone Street and most recently of the Betsy Ross Nursing and Rehabilitation Center passed away early Friday morning February 7, 2025 at the facility. She was born on April 26, 1937 in New Haven, CT and was a graduate the New Haven Schools. In 1983 Sally and Donald W. Casler were united in marriage in Oneida, New York and shared that loving union of thirty- eight years together until Donald's death on August 16, 2021. Prior to her retirement in 2000, Sally was employed in the laundry department of the Menorah Park of CNY in Fayetteville, NY. In her spare times she enjoyed reading and spending quiet time at home with her husband. Surviving are her stepchildren and spouses, Don Casler, Michael Casler and Nicole (Henderson), Lisa Casler, Dan (Sara) Casler and Theresa (Carney); her beloved step-grandchildren, Erica (Charlie) and Alexandra Wright, Shawn, Derek (Stephanie) and Tyler Casler, Marissa (Kobie) Reed, and Amanda Casler; four step-great-grandchildren, Prestyn, Marleigh, Charlie and Lydia and numerous relatives. Family and friends with be invited to attend a graveside service in the Vernon Center Cemetery, College Hill Road, Vernon Center, NY in the spring.
