My sincere sympathies to Alice's family. I'll miss her humor and curiosity. She loved her family most of all, but enjoyed having friends stop to visit as well. As a young girl, she was so full of life and it showed in her hippity hop walk. One time, she had the idea of throwing cooked spaghetti on the kitchen ceiling. If it was done, it would stick. It earned us the job of washing the entire ceiling, but we laughed all the way through it. And the time we and the neighbor boy climbed on the barn roof and slid off, landing in the snowbank. Alice was a special friend and I'll think of her every day. May her family find comfort in their memories.
