Vernon Center - DeLores Ann Faulkner, of Bleeker Road passed away on Sunday June 1, 2025.

She was an amazing mother, a dietitian, religious education teacher, cake decorator, mentor to many youths and Secular Franciscan – professed 4th Order.

DeLores was the daughter of the late James and Ellen (Murphy) Dowd. DeLores married her long time love, Leonard (Jimmy) Faulkner on November 6, 1954 and the couple had shared sixty two years together. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

Surviving are her children, Scott (Cindy) Faulkner, Gerry Clinch, Kevin (Kim Field) Faulkner, Loren (Toni Mogensen) Faulkner, grandchildren, Erica (Ron Saturnio) Shoen, Randi Clinch, Dawn (Chris Hayes) Faulkner, Sarah Preston, Caitlin Faulkner and Janelle Faulkner, great-grandchildren Jasmine Clinch (Zachary Relyea), Kiara Saturnio and Rayden Hayes, great-great-grandchildren Paisley Relyea, Ryder Relyea, Amira Relyea, Bailea Relyea and Lucas Relyea.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday June 6, 2025 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., 23 Front Street, Vernon, NY. A Secular Franciscan funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. immediately following calling hours at the funeral home.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate DeLores's life will be held at Holy Family Church in Vernon at a later date to be announced. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at the Vernon Center Cemetery.
