Obituary of Judy M. Wallace

Please share a memory of Judy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Judith M. Wallace, age 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 15, 2020 at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. She was born January 2, 1944, to James and Margaret Haggerty. She married Brian G. Wallace on September 6, 1969 and shared 48 wonderful, happy and loving years of marriage before he passed away in August 2017. Judy is survived by her children Michael Wallace and James Wallace and his wife Colleen, grandchildren Connor, Julianne and Carter. She is survived by her brothers Justin, John, James W and her sister Christine Haggerty, and predeceased by her sister Catherine. Additionally, she is survived by several nieces, nephews, her beloved extended Canadian Family and friends, especially Richard and Joyce Lallier. Judy prided herself on putting everyone else in the family first. Whether it be cooking a feast, caring for her grandchildren, rescuing animals, or stitching a hole in a pair pants, Judy always made time to provide a caring touch. She made everyone else better around her. Special thanks to the staff at Upstate Medical for providing compassionate care during her brief illness. Private family services will be held in honor of her memory. If considering a gift, please send donations to the SPCA.
