Dear Baker family. I am so sorry to have read of the death of Roberta. Please accept my sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:4. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones as well as do away with all causes we have for suffering, including sickness and death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my hope that these thoughts will comfort your family also..

Both Dawn and I are sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Baker. Once I got into adulthood, she always wanted me to call her "Bert". She was and always will be Mrs. Baker to me. I calculated that I have known your family through Andy for about 53 years; so, this was a major loss in my life. She will be missed. As I look back over time, I have realized how much stability Mr. and Mrs. Baker have provided in my life. I believe that you were both a gift of God to me because no matter what came about in life, you two were always there in the house that you built, in the same town. Also, I have appreciated Andy's friendship throughout life. We will continue to pray that God will give you comfort in the days ahead. Rich and Dawn

Mike and I wish to express our deepest sympathy to Lesley and Pete as well as the whole Baker family for the loss of Roberta (Bert). We will never forget her and we are very sad she is gone. A very fond memory we will never forget is having Bert and Pete over for my fried chicken they so graciously raved over 20 some years ago. We love our sister in law Lesley and are very sorry for her and the family's loss. Our hearts and prayers are with the family and her loving husband - Pete.
