Obituary of Mildred A. Klein

Mildred "Millie" A. Klein Verona-Mildred "Millie" A. Klein, age 74, of State Rt. 31 passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon, August 16, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on May 16, 1942 in Sherrill, New York a daughter of the late A. Franklin and Christina (Hammond) Seamon and was a graduate of V.V.S. Central School. In 1961 Millie and Parill R. Klein were united in marriage in the Verona United Methodist Church and have shared a loving relationship of fifty-five years together. Prior to her retirement in 1995 Mille was employed as a housekeeper with the Super 8 Hotel of Verona. When asked what her hobbies and things she liked to do ? Millie replied "Taking care of my family". A job she enjoyed and did well. Surviving are her beloved husband, Parill R. Klein, her children and their spouses, Wayne D. (Peggy) Klein of N. Bay, Dawn Marie Klein of Verona, Robert J. Klein of Oneida, Parill J.,PJ (Lyn) Klein of Lee Center, Lana June (Doug) Morris of N.C., nineteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, her seven siblings and their spouses, Marion (Floyd) Cornutt of Fl., Dorothy Evans of Sherrill, Catherine Seamon of Sherrill, Lois Copperwheat of Whitesboro, Donald (Donna) Seamon of Vernon, Anita Trudell of Sherrill and Gary (Jane) Seamon of Idaho, and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., 23 Front Street, Vernon, New York. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home, Vernon, NY with Rev. Susan Walters officiating. Burial will follow in West Verona Cemetery, Irish Ridge Road, Verona, New York.
