Harriet Herring
Sherrill-Harriet Herring of Sherrill, New York and previously of Niagara Falls, New York, died September 6, 2014.
Harriet was formerly employed as Court Clerk in Wellsville, NY, Utica College and various supermarkets in the Oriskany and Rome areas.
She remained fiercely independent in her retirement and will always be remembered for "hot rodding" around Sherrill between home and church on her four wheel scooter.
Surviving are her several cousins, including Jo Ann Johnson and Lynn Maloni. She is also survived by her St. Helena's Parish Family, whom she loved as her own.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Helena Church, Primo Ave, Sherrill, on Thursday September 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in immediately at Evergreen Cemetery, Old Poland Road. Barneveld, NY. Arrangements are with the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., Sherrill. Condolences may be sent to www.maleckifuneralhomes.com
