Obituary of Linda L. Richter

Linda L. Richter Sherrill-Linda L. Richter, age 60, of Life Ave. returned home to the Lord after a long courageous battle with cancer Saturday evening October 15, 2016 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 23, 1955 in Buffalo, New York a daughter of George and Ruth (Schlasgter) Sylves and was a graduate of Clarence High School and Brockport University where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree. On July 30, 1977 Linda and Nathan Richter were united in marriage in Camillus, New York and have shared a loving union of over thirty-nine years together. Prior to her retirement in June of 2015 due to health concerns Linda was employed as an administrative assistant with Universal Forest Products of Clinton. Linda loved spending time with her family, traveling on trips and enjoyed going to wineries. Surviving are her loving husband, Nathan Richter, mother, Ruth Sylves of Sarasota, Fl., two daughters and two sons-in-law, Jennifer (Dan) Deyo of Sherrill and Katharine (George) Jweid of Syracuse, one beloved granddaughter Sydney Deyo of Sherrill, two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Deborah (Raymond) Moomey of Durango Colo. and Diane (Charles) Kamide of Liverpool and several nieces and nephews. Linda was predeceased by her father George Sylves and one brother Michael Sylves. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., 464 Sherrill, New York. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Helena's Church, Primo Ave., Sherrill, NY. Burial will follow in St. Helena's Cemetery, Oneida, NY.
