We had many laughs at SUNY as we worked together for over 20 years and I still miss the great times at the State Fair we had. A great guy and very great personality as he sure had some stories to tell. I and my wife will miss you very much and our heart goes out to your children and your family.

To the family of Neil Smith: I am so sorry to hear that my old buddy passed away. We were close friends and neighbors back in the 1950's and early 60's when we lived on Deans Highway. I remember playing with Neil from the time he was only 3 years old. My sisters and I would spend hours almost every day playing with Neil and his brother and sisters. I have fond memories of sliding down the hill that was in front of Neil's house in his Uncle Lionel Harrington's cow pasture. We would build snow forts, ride his Uncles's donkeys, play softball (I broke the picture window on his house hitting a line drive) and of course there were the yearly hayrides on Halloween when his Uncle Lionel would take us and many neighbor kids all the way to Westmoreland and back. We certainly had a wonderful environment where we grew up in Hecla, NY. To Cindy, Janet and Garry: My heartfelt condolences go out to you. Your brother was one heck of a good guy. Just maybe we can go back and play together like we did as children in heaven. Maybe that's one of the benefits our Lord has waiting for us someday. May God give you His peace at the time of your loss.
