Obituary of Stuart H. Talbot

Stuart H. Talbot, age 85, passed away March 9, 2020 while wintering in Jacksonville Florida with his family.
He was born on December 2, 1934 in Bowerstown (Cooperstown), New York. He was the son of the late Hess W. and Hazel I. (Beckwith) Talbot.
Stuart was a graduate of Cooperstown Central School and received his Bachelor degree from Syracuse University through Utica College.
Stu enlisted with the United States Air Force in 1953 during the Korean War and spent service time in Europe. He was honorably discharged in 1957.
On June 23, 1963 Stuart and Judith A. Crogan were united in marriage in Mohawk, New York. They shared that union for over 57 years.
In 1993, Stuart retired from Griffiss Air Force Base where he had a lengthy career in satellite communications.
Stuart was an active member of Christ Church United Methodist of Sherrill, Sons of the American Revolution, Boy Scouts of America, and Mayflower Descendants. He also enjoyed driving his classic '71 Buick Skylark Convertible and researching family genealogy.
Surviving are his wife Judith A. Talbot, and his children Katrina Bratge, Regina Talbot, Shannon Talbot, and Sharina Romano along with nine grandchildren.
In keeping with Stuart’s wishes there will be a memorial service on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 10:30 am at Christ Church United Methodist 417 Park Street, Sherrill, NY, 13461. Online condolences may be sent to maleckifuneralhome.com
