Obituary of Claire L. Adamski

Claire L. Adamski Vernon-Claire L. Adamski, 92, of Vernon passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015 at the Utica Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born in Little Falls, NY on April 6, 1923 the daughter of the late John and Loretta Feeney LaDeau. She graduated from St. Mary's Academy, Little Falls, NY and the College of St. Rose, Albany, NY. On March 31, 1951 Claire was united in marriage to Bernard J. Adamski. Claire greatly enjoyed her teaching and musical career. She taught in elementary and high school grades for over 30 years. In addition, she was also a church organist and choir director for over 25 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Bernard; daughter, Abigail and her significant other and valued family friend, Paul Mickelson of Utica. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved neighbors. She was predeceased by her sister, Germaine Kelhi. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, May1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church, Peterboro Street, Vernon. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Malecki Funeral Home, 23 Front St., Vernon.
