Obituary of Marsha L. Vierow

On June 25, 2022, Marsha L. Vierow has passed away after a long illness. She left this life very peacefully with her loving family by her side.

She was born on March 30, 1947, in Oneida, New York. The daughter of Henry and Lillian Waddington Leclau of Sherrill, New York. She was a graduate of V.V.S. Central High School Class of 1966. She worked for 24 years before becoming disabled at Oneida Limited in the Accounting Division.

On July 13, 1969, Marsha and Jerry Vierow were married at the Verona Seventh Day Baptist Church. A union that lasted almost 53 years.

Marsha leaves behind her husband, Jerry, two daughters, Michelle Lee Caswell of Durhamville, New York and Morgen Lynn Vierow of Sherrill, New York, 3 grandchildren, Kaylee Caswell, Jacob Caswell and Ethan Vierow whom she was very proud of and loved dearly. She also leaves a sister, Margo L. Buckingham (Richard) of Manlius, New York, and several nieces and nephews.

Marsha was a loving wife, mother and grandma. She most loved her times with family. She loved her flowers and would spend hours in her front and side gardens making her home beautiful. She also spent hours with a crochet hook in her hand creating Afghans, lap robes, baby blankets and hats, which she donated to various organizations.

We will miss her dearly and cherish our years together.

Services will be at the Malecki Funeral Home, Sherrill Road, Sherrill, New York on Friday July 1, 2022.Calling hours from 12-2 with the service 2:00. Interment will be in Valley View Cemetery, Middle Road Oneida, New York following the service.
