Obituary of Sally L. Quackenbush

Sherrill-Sally L. Quackenbush, age 72, formerly of Pexton Street passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon, September 13, 2022 in Bethany Gardens Nursing Facility where she recently resided, with her loving family at her side. She was born on March 31, 1950 in Oneida, New York a daughter of the late James and Leona (Sharp) Relyea and was a graduate of Canastota schools. In 1969 Sally and Roy E. Quackenbush were united in Canastota and shared vows of over forty-nine years together until Roy's death on August 7, 2018. Prior to her retirement she was employed as an inspector with the Oneida Limited Silversmiths. In her spare time she enjoyed car rides in the country, walking her daughter's dog, she loved to go camping and doing her word search books. Surviving are her three children, Kevin (Nicole) Quackenbush of Kernersville, NC, Karen Quackenbush and Kristen English (Brian) all of Oneida, Thelma (Ernest) Jenkins of Columbia SC, two grandchildren, Jakob Quackenbush of Winston-Salem NC, Isabella Quackenbush of Kernersville NC, her four siblings, Janet (Jerry) Compoli of Oneida, Susan (Gerry) Becker of Vernon, David (Amanda) Relyea of Sherrill and James Relyea of Syracuse as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Christ Methodist Church, 417 Park Street, Sherrill, NY.
