Obituary of Joan M. Meadows

Sherrill-Joan M. Meadows, age 81, of Ransom Ave. passed away Tuesday October 4, 2022 at SUNY Upstate Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born on May 11, 1941 in Rome, New York a daughter of the late Gregory and Rose (Santa Maria) Stockbridge and was a graduate of Clinton High School in 1959.

On July 30, 1999 Joan retired from Oneida Limited with thirty-one years of service.

She enjoyed reading and the outdoors with her flowers.

Joan was of the Catholic Faith.

Surviving are one daughter, Laurie Ann Meadows of Vernon, one son, Mark E. Meadows and his fiance Susan Pratt of Rome, one sister Mary Fedor and brother-in-law Louis Fedor of Clark Mills, one brother James Stockbridge of Florida, five granddaughters, Brittni Rose, Tiffany, Nichole, Katelyn and Caitlyn, three grandsons, Brian, Brandon and Mark Jr., and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Joan was predeceased by her parents, one son, Brian Meadows and sister-in-law Sharon Stockbridge.

In keeping with Joan's wishes there will be no services at this time. Arrangements are with the Malecki Funeral Home of Sherrill. Online condolences may be sent to malekifuneralhome.com
