Obituary of Marjorie E. Moot

Oneida-Marjorie E. Moot, age 91, of Moot Road passed away peacefully Saturday morning December 17, 2022 in Community Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
She was born on December 31, 1930 in the town of Sullivan a daughter of the late Thomas and Leora (Popple) Reynolds and attended local schools.
On November 24, 1951 Marjorie and Francis J. Moot Sr. were united in marriage in Stockbridge, New York and shared that vow of forty-seven years until Francis' death on March 1st, 1998.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her six children while helping out with farm life as well as cooking and baking. She enjoyed reading and spending her afternoons watching Dr. Phil, staying home and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her six children, Francis (Diane) Moot Sr., Jackie Becker (Ron Evans), Sharon (Stephen) Byron, Ernest (Nora) Moot, Wanda (Lee) Ward and Michael Moot, one sister Virginia Kampf, one brother, Thomas (Alice) Reynolds, sixteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Marjorie was predeceased by her husband Francis J. Moot Sr., sister Sharon Bargabos, grandson Robert Moot and son-in-law Robert Becker.
In keeping with the family's wishes there will be no services. Private burial for the family will be in Stockbridge Cemetery, Stockbridge, NY. Arrangements are with the Malecki Funeral Home of Sherrill. Online condolences may be sent to maleckifuneralhome.com
