Tyler D. Evans
Sherrill-Tyler D. Evans, age 26, of E. Hinds Ave. passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning June 10, 2015.
He was born on June 20, 1988 in Oneida, New York a son of Wayne T. and Jill L. (Spadter) Evans and was a V.V.S. graduate where he played football and Track.
Tyler loved the outdoors. He enjoyed camping, canoeing, hiking, hunting and snow shoeing. He attended Philmont Scout Camp in New Mexico the summer of 2003 with a number of other Boy Scouts from the area. He was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking with his mom. He loved all animals, especially his dog Bella.
Surviving are his parents, Wayne and Jill Evans of Sherrill, siblings, Matthew Evans of MI, Joshua Powell of Canastota, Christopher Evans of PA and Jamie Jones of Sherrill, his paternal grandparents Fred and Anna Mae Evans of Sherrill and maternal grandparents Pat and Lenny Spadter of Sherrill, several aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday June 15, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., 464 Sherrill Rd., Sherrill, NY. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. at Christ Church United Methodist, Park Street, Sherrill, NY with Rev. Robert Kolvic-Campbell officiating. Private burial will be in Valley View Cemetery, Oneida, New York. Online condolences may be sent to maleckifuneralhome.com
