To put it simply, Jim was Best Friend. We met in Kindergarten 70 years ago and we shared many life events from marriage, children and grandchildren. Though separated by many miles, we maintained contact via ham radio and kept up with each other's family events and hobbies which included old cars, ham radio and radio control airplanes. He always had some wisdom to share along the way.
We were blessed to have shared so much for so long.
Missing those days and contacts.
Wishing you God's Peace and '73

I met JIm when he started the weekday 80m AM group. That is a while back now. He was our anchor and net controller too in reality. It was not the same when he disappeared over a weekend. Already we miss him. Thanks for the good memories!

I usually saw Bumpa at the concerts Liam, Brody and Harper played or sang in. Also, at their theatrical events. He was always proud of his grandchildren and their accomplishments. He will be missed very much.

So many great memories of Jim. He was my brother’s very best friend for as long as I can remember. He was often at our farm tinkering with cars, or doing ‘ham stuff’ with my brother. As adults, my brother (Paul Jasiewicz) had a weekly time and day with Jim to talk on the radio. They supported each other through thick and thin. Even though they lived in different states, they were like 2 peas in a pod. Jim was the rare true friend that very few are ever blessed with. My deepest condolences. He will be greatly missed.
