Sheila M. (Danaher) Gaudin

Vernon Center- Sheila M. (Danaher) Gaudin, age 52, of Simmons Road passed away peacefully Wednesday morning June 17, 2015 at her home with her family at her side after a long battle with cancer.

She was born on February 5, 1963 in New Hartford, New York daughter of the late Gerald and Mary Jane (Foote) Danaher and attended V.V.S. Central School.

On June 15, 1985 Sheila and Gregory Gaudin were united in marriage in Vernon Center and the couple has shared a loving union of thirty years together.

Sheila was a manager at the Waterville and Clinton CVS Pharmacy's for the past eighteen years.

In her spare time Sheila enjoyed riding motorcycles but first and foremost it was her family that she enjoyed spending time with. "She lived for her family".

Surviving are her husband Gregory Gaudin, one daughter Mary Gaudin, two sons, Gregory Gaudin Jr. and his wife Stephanie, one future grandchild, son Christopher Gaudin, very special granddaughter Temperance Gaudin, siblings, Kris (Rich) Ziomek, Mike (Sharon) Danaher, Colleen (Joe) Jennette, Tim (Danielle) Danaher, Patti (Joe) Fariello, Maureen (Rick) Moylan, Kelly Danaher and Don Grivois, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joe (Sarah) Gaudin, Deborah (Arnold) Leuenburger, Ronald (Judy) Gaudin, Laurie Terrier, Doug (Faith) Gaudin, Scott (Dee) Gaudin and Dorene (Rob) Thornton. Many nieces and nephews. Close friends Patrick and Laura Nolan and family and Ken and Kara Roberts and family.

She was predeceased by her parents Gerald and Mary Jane Danaher and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ronald and Carol Gaudin.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday June 21, 2015 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., 23 Front Street, Vernon. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home, Vernon. Burial will follow in Skinner Cemetery, Vernon Center, New York.
