I send my heartfelt condolences to Mary's family. It will be the many good memories that will comfort you and stay with you now.. I first met Mary in high school in the 1960's and will always remember her as a very kind, caring person with a calm aura about her. Years after graduationg from VVS, some of us would gather from near and far for a wonderful lunch date where we could catch up with one another. When Mary spoke of her children and grandchildren, her love for them was unmistakeable. Mary and my mother worked at Hood for many years, so they knew each other in that capacity. After my mother died in 2020, Mary sent me one of her hand croched angel ornaments. I was so touched by her gift, and to this day, I have the angel in a room where I see it everyday and always think fondly of Mary.

Our deepest sympathy to Mary's family. I remember my cousin Mary helping on the farm in Verona as our fathers thought a family vacation was getting in hay and milking cows. She was always right there learning and doing. Some of our greatest treasures are the beautiful ornaments that she sent with her Christmas cards each year including this year. Peace be with you and love the memories that were her life.
