Obituary of Eleanor "Ellie" Hutchinski

Vernon-Oneida- Eleanor "Ellie" Hutchinski, age 96, a longtime former resident of Peterboro Road passed away peacefully on Saturday February 24, 2024 in the Laurel Ridge Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center where she more recently resided to be closer to her family. She was born on September 10, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio a daughter of the late Edward and Jeanette (Zalewski) Zielinski and was a graduate of the Cleveland, Ohio Schools. In 1950 Ellie and Peter Hutchinski were united in marriage at Holy Trinity Church of Utica and shared that vow of sixty-three years together until Peter's death on May 31, 2013. Prior to her retirement Eleanor was an employed in the offices of the Oneida Limited Silversmiths. Surviving is her one son, Peter P. (Lynn) Hutchinski of Rosindale, MA, one daughter Cynthia Tatsak of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, five grandchildren, Margaret, Heather, Jenna, John and Kendal and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Ellie's wishes there will be no services at this time. Burial will be this summer at the family's convenience in West St. Johnsville Cemetery, St. Johnsville, NY. Arrangements are with the Malecki Funeral Home of Sherrill.
