Obituary of Debrah A. Chapple
Rome-Debrah A. "Debbie" Chapple, age 70, of Senn Road passed away peacefully Saturday evening September 7, 2024 at her home surrounded by the love and care of her family.
She was born on September 19, 1953 in Utica, New York a daughter of the late Melvin and Caroline (Owens) Baumes and was a graduate of the Whitesboro Schools.
On December 13, 1980 Debbie and David K. Chapple were united in marriage and have shared over fifty years together as a couple.
Debbie was a homemaker and after her fifth child was born, she went to work at the Turning Stone Casino as a porter and after many years retired due to health problems. In her spare times she enjoyed, reading and doing crafts.
Debbie was a loving and caring mother and the most important things in her life were her children, grandchildren and her husband.
Surviving is her husband, David K. Chapple, five children, Jeremy Chapple, David K. (Jamie) Chapple Jr., Heather Ann (William-Debbie's "bad penny") Green, Patrick Chapple and Amanda Chapple, her five beloved grandchildren, Alisa Chapple, Daniel Chapple, Memphis Chapple, Oakley Chapple and Travis Green, two brothers, Rick and John, four sisters, Pam, Judy, Cindy and Sandy and many nieces and nephews.
David would like to thank the family's friends who helped him keep his wife home and those who cared for her and especially the staff at Hospice and Palliative Care who were a tremendous help to him and the family especially during these final times.
