So very sorry to find out just recently that Karen has passed. I will always remember Karen from our time shared while in college. Those years are some of my best years as I’m sure they were as well for Karen. I did have the opportunity to share a meal at Karen’s parents house in Verona in 1977. I will not forget how much I enjoyed her mother’s spaghetti sauce with sausage. Exceptional! I remember her sister Lynn as well as seeing a cat or two at the family home. To Lynn, family and Nathan, Karen was a sweet dear friend to me for many years and loved my dog Sunshine. We shared so many happy wonderful times, with laughs, and shared our secrets too. I will never forget this wonderful fun loving person who could light a room with her personality. Karen I will always love you, Connie Ryan. My sincere condolences go out all of you.

I was shocked to hear about Karen's passing. Knowing she will be with her parents does give comfort. I always looked up to her growing up and the whole Gabris family were awesome neighbors. Lynn, I'm sending you all my love, hugs and prayers.
