To the Family of Marty Simpkins: I was so sorry to find out today that your husband/dad had passed away months ago. I knew Marty as the caretaker of Maple Grove Cemetery. He helped me in 2016 with my mother's burial and in 2022 with my sister's son and in-laws burial. He was always so kind about answering my questions. I will always remember and appreciate his kindness towards me at a very stressful time. I am so sorry for your loss but know that he is no longer suffering and is in the arms of the angels. We are so sorry for your loss, Marty was a wonderful man, we had years of coffee visits sitting in Cecil's garage venting about life and once in awhile he would give me good advice on stuff I would be struggling with. Marty would come to Austin's softball games. Every year for my birthday he would come over to visit and always brought me 2 shots of Captain Morgan and have a drink with me. He would always tell me how I don't need extra animals but I would get them anyway. He new how much I loved it up at Beaver River and would find time in his life to have my family and I up to his camp for a weekend! Marty was like a Dad to me, I am so grateful to of had him in my life. He will truly be missed. So sorry for your loss. Mike, Wendy and Austin Willimson
